GSA Winter Warmers public workshop
Following the request from local residents that Glasgow School of Art provide a warm bank, I generated a workshop to offer those interested in creative activities during the evening. This was a gentle offering that opened up dialogue around the themes of warmth and safety, community, togetherness and ‘nesting’ or ‘place-making’. In a non-judgemental space the group worked together to pursue enquiries, using an array of domestic and artistic props and my encouragement to move (and build dens)! This was a playful session embracing collaboration and intervention.
